The International Laboratory for Logic, Linguistics, and Formal Philosophy at HSE University studies logic and rationality in a changing world characterized by a diversity of logical systems and rational agents. The laboratory maintains and develops academic collaborations with Russian and international partners. The HSE news service “Vyshka.Main” spoke with the head of the laboratory, Professor Elena Dragalina-Chernaya, about its research.

On April 29, Elena Dragalina-Chernaya delivered a talk titled "Classifying Structures: Abstract Logics as Classifications of Abstract Structures" at the Interdisciplinary Seminar "Philosophy, Mathematics, Linguistics: Aspects of Interaction (PhML)" at the St. Petersburg Department of the Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (PDMI).

The HSE University International Laboratory for Mirror Symmetry and Automorphic Forms and the Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (BIMSA) held a joint online conference on mathematical physics. The results of the laboratory research presented at the event will be published in leading academic journals.
