Yuri Kabanov, a researcher at The HSE University International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration, took part in the International Conference on the Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV – 2024), which was held from October 1-4 in Pretoria (South Africa).

Violetta Homyakova, a Research Assistant at the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration, participated in the annual «Economy & Management» (EMC) conference with a presentation on the topic «The Role of Digital Transformation of Public Administration in Achieving Sustainable Development of Regions».

Evgeny Styrin, the Head of the HSE University International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration, participated in the conference "Digital Petersburg - 2035", which was held on the eve of the International ICT Forum "IT Dialogue". Within the framework of the conference, expert sessions were held, where possible sections and the basis for the Strategy of St. Petersburg City until 2035 were discussed. 

Ekaterina Nastina presented the report ‘Justifiability of Free Riding and Quality of Institutions: The Moderating Role of Personal Values and Culture’.

The IV International Conference on Econometrics and Business Analytics iCEBA-2024 brought together participants from different countries, including Germany, Norway, Italy, Australia, France, Great Britain and Kazakhstan. The International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy of the National Research University Higher School of Economics - Perm was represented at the conference by Laboratory Head Petr Parshakov, Professor, Senior Researcher Mariia Molodchik and Research Assistant Egor Ivanov.

Research assistant at the Laboratory for Comparative Social Research defended his candidate dissertation on the topic “The Formation and Function of Mechanisms of Electronic Participation in Russia's Regions”.

On October 25–26, 2024, HSE University’s AI and Digital Science Institute and the AI Research Centre hold the Fall into ML 2024 conference in Moscow. This year’s event will focus on the prospects in development of fundamental artificial intelligence, with SBER as its conference title partner.

The textbook titled “Professional Training Internship: Year 1 – A Practical Guide for Students and Educators” by Knyazev E.N. and Chebotareva O.E. has been honored in HSE University's academic achievement awards for its contribution to the institution’s reputation (Level 2).
