Some of the Center’s experts attended a workshop on field experiments in New York on the 18-20^th of May, 2011. The seminar was organized by the Columbia Center for the Study of Development Strategies and the Harriman Institute at Columbia University as part of the joint project of the Higher School of Economics and the Harriman Institute for the establishment of the International Centre for the Study of Institutions and Development at the HSE.

On May 16th Prof. Yves Gingras has delivered a workshop "S & T in the Context of Globalization: The Internationalization of Scientific Research" at the HSE.

The Head of the Laboratory for Experimental and Behavioural Economics, Associate professor of ICEF PhD Alexis Belianin made a presentation “Factors of cooperative behaviour in experimental games” within the scientific seminar on 12^th May. Besides the research workers of the International Scientifical-Educational Laboratory of Socio-Cultural Research and the guests of the seminar the research workers of the Laboratory of Comparative Social Studies from St. Petersburg took part in videoconference.
