On February, 27, 2013 the regular workshop for the participants of the Russian S&T Foresight 2030 took place at the Higher School of Economics. The discussion of the principal results achieved within the project framework in 2012 as well as of the objectives for the year 2013, was held under the guidance of reconciling various Foresight blocks.
As part of the project “The International Academy of Foresight” the Foresight Centre at the HSE Institute of Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge (ISSEK) is receiving its first interns from partner universities. Tiina-Maria Seppänen, researcher at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), and Alexander Chulok, head of department at ISSEK, talked to us about their joint research plans.
On the 12 of March Vladimir Mukomel, doctor of Sociology, Head of the sector of studying migration and integration processes of the Institute of Sociology Russian Academy of Science, made a report on following topic: "Migration to Russia: challenges, potential, risks".

On March 7 has been held a scientific seminar from the seria “Culture does matter”. The report “Private intergenerational transfers in terms of demographic aging in Russia” was made by Anna Mironova, trainee-researcher of ISEL-SCR.
