Springer series “Societies and Political Orders in Transition” is now completed with a new collective monograph “Social Capital and Subjective Well-Being: Insights from Cross-Cultural Studies” edited by Anna Almakaeva, Deputy Head at the Ronald F. Inglehart Laboratory for Comparative Social Research (HSE University), Alejandro Moreno (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México — ITAM) and Rima Wilkes (University of British Columbia).

Professor John W. Berry has been included in the recent Stanford University's list of 2% of the world's top scientists. The study analyzed data from 1965 to 2019, covering about 7 million scientists in 22 main fields of science. Most of those on the list work in Medicine and Technology. According to the list, among Canadian psychologists from all fields, prof. Berry is ranked # 3 on this list and # 1 among Canadian social psychologists.

The paper “Detecting Automatically Managed Accounts in Online Social Networks: Graph Embedding Approach” by Ilia Karpov, Junior Research Fellow at ANR-Lab, and his colleague Ekaterina Glazkova won the Best Paper Award in the area of Social Networks Analysis in the collection of publications following the results of the 9th International Conference on Analysis of Images, Social Networks, and Texts, held online on October 15-16.
