On October 25, 2024, a lecture was held by the outstanding Turkish economist Ahmet Alkan, one of the leading experts in the field of game theory, matching and auctions. He holds the position of professor at the prestigious Turkish Sabanji University. Professor Alkan is also a member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences and a member of the European Science Foundation. For his work, he has been awarded several times by Turkish universities and scientific communities.

On October 18, 2024, the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy held a research workshop, where Elena Shakina, senior researcher of the laboratory, and her co-author, junior researcher Evgeniya Shenkman, presented the report "Skills over credentials: wage premiums and remote work in the post-pandemic economy".

RUDN Journal of Sociology in No. 3 for 2024 published the article "Algorithmic Management in The Focus of Sociology of Technology" by Maria Yudina, Senior Researcher at the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration at the HSE University.

Jorge Luis Méndez-Martínez, a researcher at IL LLFP, became the winner of the competition of the National Council for Sciences, Technology and Humanities of Mexico.

XIII International conference “Legal issues in the Digital age” was held by the Faculty of Law of the HSE University. Research Fellow of the The HSE University International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration Evgenii Diskin took a part in it.

On October 14, 2024, International Partnership Day Russia–Brazil took place at HSE University. The event was organised in collaboration with the Brazilian Embassy in Moscow and marked the first Brazilian academic and scientific mission to Russia, leading to the signing of cooperation agreements between HSE University and four Brazilian universities.

This event launched the First Brazilian academic and scientific Mission in Russia, and one of its results was the signing of cooperation agreements between the Higher School of Economics and four Brazilian universities.

On October 14, the International Russia — Brazil Partnership Day took place, organized at the Higher School of Economics in cooperation with the Brazilian Embassy in Moscow.

The HSE scientific journal “Public Administration Issues” published an article “Composite indices for governing digitalization: Methods for construction” by Ivan Makarov, Research Assistant at HSE’s International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration.

On October 2, 2024, Vyacheslav Neverov, the Centers' research intern defended his PhD thesis.
