The members of the Centre for Sociocultural Research traditionally held the XIV summer school from 16 to 21 June. This year it was devoted to the development of design, programme and evaluation methods of intercultural interaction training

On June 20, 2024 a seminar was held on the topic "Emotional labour of nurses in the COVID-19 pandemic: the results of a qualitative study", organized within the framework of the Research Group "Doctor-nurse-patient relationship: between professional authority and the powers of consumers of medical services".

Intern-researcher Anastasia Zhitkova from the Laboratory of Social and Cognitive Informatics participated in the program.

How are digital platforms contributing to sustainable development? How is international cooperation progressing in Eurasia? How should the Russia-India business dialogue proceed? HSE University's scientists presented their answers during expert discussions at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.

On June 11, 2024 the seminar "Interaction between doctors and parents of children with special needs: regulations and experience of informing" was held, which was attended by members of the ILSIR research project and experts from the Center for Therapeutic Pedagogy, a partner organization, and the Coordinating Council working group. The report of the laboratory staff and the subsequent discussion with experts were devoted to the first results of the quantitative stage of the research on the experience of implementing a protocol for reporting the diagnosis in the constituent subjects of the Russian Federation.

Elena Artemenko participated in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Evgeny Styrin, Head of the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration, became a member of the Technical Program Committee of the International Conference on Democracy and E-Government (ICEDEG) 2024.

Publication by scientists of the Centre for Quantum Metamaterials "Suppression of superconducting fluctuations in multi-zone superconductors as a mechanism for increasing critical temperature" (Mini-review) // Letters to the Journal of Experimental and Theoretical Physics. 2024. Vol.119. No.3. p. 234 – 252// She was recognized as the best in the nomination "Science" in the field of PHYSICS AND ENGINEERING SCIENCES.

HSE University hosted a student conference “Protection of the rights of the users in the Metaverse”. Research fellow of the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration Evgeny Diskin took part in the conference as a moderator of the first section. 

On June 27, 2024, a workshop dedicated to the interim results and prospects of research conducted under the RNF grant "Factors of Resource Intensification for SMEs in Conditions of External Uncertainty" took place at the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy at HSE University (Perm). Participants discussed key achievements and steps in the project aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a changing economic environment.
