The Center for Digital Transformation of Public Administration of the Lomonosov Moscow State University held an international round table. Head of the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration (Institute for Public Administration and Governance of the HSE University) Evgeny Styrin, made a presentation on "Data-based Public Administration: Effects, Risks, Barriers".

Throughout the year, the HSE International Laboratory for Social Integration Research (ILSIR) is hosting consulting seminars on ‘Care and Welfare in Post-Socialist Eurasia: Institutions, Discourses, Identities’ with presentations by leading foreign experts. The first seminar in the series, ‘Conceptualising Social Activism’ was held on April 4 with the participation of Professor Linda Cook, Academic Supervisor of HSE ILSIR. The second one will take place on April 18.

On April 12, 2023, within the framework of the XXIV Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, a session "Sociocultural Potential of Museums: Identity and Local Solidarity" was held (Moderator: N. Bolshakov (ILSIR, HSE University).

On April 14, at the seminar "Modern Demography", representatives of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Doctor of Economics Irina E. Kalabikhina and Mikhail Maksimov, a master's student, talked about the relationship between women's life expectancy loss during the pandemic years and various demographic and social determinants.

The Bachelor's programme 'Sociology and Social Informatics' is well suited to those interested in public processes, people's lives and data analysis. The programme offers state-funded places and fee-paying places for foreign students. We talked about the specifics and advantages of the programme with its academic supervisor Anna Nemirovskaya.

Field seminar held from March 31 to April 2, 2023 in the “Voronovo” was dedicated to the possibilities of commercialization of scientific research, the specifics of the search for investments, markets, marketing of scientific research. 

On April 4, researchers of the International Laboratory of Population and Health presented the results of their work at the XXIV Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development.

Pavel Ovchinnikov, an Research Assistant at our laboratory, a master's student of the Sociology of Public and Business Sphere master’s program, spoke at the International Scientific Conference "Commodity – money – commodity? Patterns and paradoxes of trade in the USSR and beyond".

Senior Researcher of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration Maria Yudina participated in the discussion at the International Conference of Social Precarization.
