HSE Hosted April Conference for the XX time and Welcomes You for the XXI
The XX April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development was organized from the 9th until the 12th of April in Moscow.
The conference was organized by the Higher School of Economics – one of Russia’s top universities and an expert centre of the Government of the Russian Federation – in cooperation with the World Bank. This is our traditional interdisciplinary conference on social sciences in Russia and the post-Soviet space. This conference annually welcomes more than 2,000 participants from around 20 countries. Nobel laureates, as well as other well-recognized and world-famous academics, have participated in the Conference at various times.
The XX April Conference featured a diverse agenda concerning social and economic development in the Russian Federation. A list of topics is available on the Conference’s website at: https://conf.hse.ru/en/2019/sections. The Conference was aimed at facilitating academic discussion, which distinguishes it from other events on economic and social issues. A good proportion of the papers to be presented are scientific and academic articles based on recent research projects. Furthermore, special events on economic and social development have been included as integral components of the programme. These plenary sessions and roundtables were held with the direct involvement of representatives of the Russian Government, as well as business stakeholders and various experts.
The XXI April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development welcomes you. Follow the news on the website: https://conf.hse.ru/en/2019/
