Chandigarh University representatives at HSE

On 16 September 2016 representatives from Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Mohali (India) visited National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow. The delegation was represented by Prof.(Dr.) R.S. Bawa, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Prof. Rajan Sharma, Deputy Director (International Relations). Boris Zhelezov, Deputy First Vice Rector, who chaired the meeting, outlined a big interest in HSE Coursera online courses among the Indian students and briefly introduced HSE achievements within the past years.

Anna Yakovleva, Deputy Head for International Relations at School of Business Administration, Faculty of Business and Management expressed her interest in exchanging bachelor students and inviting Chandigarh students to summer schools organized by the Faculty.

Kristina Krutilina, Editor at Faculty of Communications, Media and Design and Assistant at School of Design together with Anna Karasyova, PR-manager at School of Design presented programs and courses in English available at School of Design and expressed their interest in joint publications and exchange of experience with Fashion & Design Department at Chandigarh University.

Sergey Silantiev, International Affairs Manager at Faculty of Computer Science introduced programs of the Faculty of Computer Science and suggested to enter into Student Exchange Agreement between Chandigarh University and HSE School of Computer Engineering.

Chandigarh University delegation noted the rapid development of Higher School of Economics during the past years and expressed their willingness to foster cooperation between our universities through concluding Cooperation agreement and establishing student exchange program with HSE, including opportunity for the students of Chandigarh University to attend summer courses and get benefited from the expertise available at HSE.
