The ‘Foreign Languages ​​and Intercultural Communication in Business’ programme at HSE University in Perm places a special emphasis on learning a second foreign language, offering students a choice of German, French, or Chinese. The HSE News Service spoke to students who have been studying Chinese for a year about their experiences of passing an exam for an international certificate and gaining a better understanding of Chinese culture.

HSE University has hosted the signing of cooperation agreements with two Iranian universities—Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU) and the University of Isfahan (UI). The results of exams organized by the University of London (UoL) and the London School of Economics (LSE, a constituent college of UoL) have been announced. Students of HSE ICEF, the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Relations (WEIA) and the HSE Faculty of Computer Science (FCS) have achieved the highest grades in a variety of subjects and confirmed their reputation as the top representatives of international programmes. Fourteen HSE students received awards for their academic achievements.

Four students of the HSE University and University of London Double Degree Programme in Data Science and Business Analytics received the highest scores on London exams at the end of 2019/2020 academic year. Yunying Pei, Vasily Kireenko, Vladimir Zobov, and Ilya Zisman performed brilliantly in the statistics, business, and management tests.

HSE ICEF students annually are awarded prizes and commendation letters from the University of London for their academic achievements and internationally top-ranking exam scores in the international double degree programme. In addition, University of London faculty members note the high level of our students in comparison with other students from around the world.
