Аннотация

This course focuses on binding and non-binding instruments applied at international level to govern global commons. The course aims as well to provide students with analysis of cases decided in international courts in regard to global environmental problems. Such environmental problems as air and water pollution, climate change, loss of biodiversity, land degradation, deforestation, nuclear pollution are within the scope of the course. Throughout the course, attention will be focused on interconnections between international environmental law and WTO law. The environmental problems are analyzed through legal and economic methods.
