Course Syllabus

Abstract

This course explores the brain bases of bilingualism by discussing literature relevant to differences in age of initial learning, proficiency, and control in the nonverbal, single language and dual-language literature.

  • To introduce students to past and current conceptual developments in bilingual and neuroscience research
  • Students will be able to compare developmental parameters of language acquisition of children and adult bilinguals
  • We investigate various complex of bilingual practices withis social diversity and gender issue
  • Students will look at various processes affecting language shift and professional experise within the language efficiency
