Аннотация

The discipline is an optional one in the variable part of the curriculum for Masters of the 1st year in the Programme of "Applied Social Psychology". The discipline is based on the previously studied basic courses: - Theory and methodology of modern psychology; - Cross-cultural psychology. The knowledge, abilities and skills acquired in the course of studying the discipline can be used in the future in the process of students' research work, when writing a master's thesis, as well as in professional activities. The purpose of the discipline is to master the basic concepts and ideas about intercultural conflict and negotiation, acquaintance with the psychological foundations of the theory of conflict, the causes and methods of managing conflicts in an intercultural context. This discipline is aimed at developing students' system of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities to analyze and diagnose conflict interaction, as well as to manage social interaction in intercultural negotiations. The greatest emphasis is on the highlighting the patterns of the emergence and development of intercultural conflicts, ways of resolving them, methods of conflict regulation and prevention, as well as the specifics and stages of the negotiation process in an intercultural environment. The passage of this discipline will allow students to master the skills in the field of intercultural mediation and negotiation.

This discipline is aimed at developing the system of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities to analyze and diagnose conflict interaction, as well as to manage social interaction in intercultural negotiations.
