Due to the pandemic, all entertainment venues, cafes, and restaurants had been allowed to operate only until 11 pm. Starting January 27, 2021, these restrictions will be lifted. Now, there are no restrictions on the operation of restaurants, night clubs, karaoke clubs, bowling alleys, as well as other entertainment industry establishments, from 11 pm to 6 am. The other restrictions, such as wearing masks and social distancing, are still in place.

Please remember that your chances of getting infected with COVID-19 are lower but still exist. The fight is not over. We still have to be cautious", Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said.

Starting January 27, the requirement that employers have at least 30% of their staff members working from home is no longer obligatory, though it is still recommended. It will be up to the employers to decide whether to transition their staff back to on-site work or to continue having them working from home.

Museums, libraries, and other cultural institutions reopened in Moscow on January 22.

When visiting public places, please wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
