In recent decades, the Septuagint and the culture of Hellenistic Judaism have attracted increasing interest in the world of biblical scholarship. Of special interest for the scholars is the influence of the worldview of the translators on the result of their work. There is one point that all modern Septuagint scholars share, namely that we cannot speak of the Septuagint as something stylistically or thematically unified. Any discussion of the Septuagint as a whole must be preceded by a careful study of individual cases and passages. This assumption underlies the current dissertation as well. The dissertation consists of a methodological study (“In search of the theology of the Septuagint”) and seven case studies, which deal with such features of the Septuagint translation as semantic neologisms, translators’ use of euphemisms, dysphemisms and “speaking” names, reflection of changing social realities in translation, lexicalization of grammatical categories in translation, rendering of polysemous prepositions, and translators’ rendering of the construction “idem per idem”. A special study is devoted to the use of statistical analysis to investigate translators' strategies. In each case study, we focus on a particular linguistic feature of the translation to see whether this feature is related to the theological exegesis of the given passage or can be explained by other reasons, e.g., translation techniques.

Диссертационное исследование посвящено анализу эффективности сделок слияний и поглощений публичных компаний с учетом параметров их технологического развития.  По результатам исследования было выявлено отрицательное влияние («замещающий» эффект) уровня технологического развития компании-покупателя на эффективность сделок слияний и поглощений с целью приобретения технологий и знаний. В рамках исследования была разработана новая модель оценки эффективности сделок слияний и поглощений с учетом технологических параметров компании-цели с применением метода оболочечного анализа данных (DEA) на международных и локальных рынках. Помимо этого, разработаны модели, учитывающие отраслевую специфику, для оценки эффективности приобретения в результате слияний и поглощений финансовых технологий и ИКТ-технологий. Кроме того, выявлены связь между технологическими параметрами компаний и эффективностью: для трех типов сделок слияний и поглощений: горизонтальных, вертикальных и конгломератных; для сделок по приобретению ИКТ; для сделок с целью приобретения финансовых технологий.

The main object of the study is poetry composed within the East Syriac church  communities in the Middle East between the thirteenth and seventeenth centuries. During this period, cultural contacts between Christian communities of this area and the traditions of other religions were very intense, which considerably enriched the church literature both in terms of contents and technique. Many historical events contributed to it, such as the conquest of the Near and Middle East by the Mongols in the thirteenth century, the unification of these territories under the Ottoman rule in the fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries, as well as the establishment of contacts between Eastern Syriac communities and the Catholic Church in the mid-sixteenth century. By East Syriac poetry, poetic texts in classical Syriac formed both in the Church of the East (‘Nestorian’), and within the Chaldean Church (East Syriac Uniate Church) after the Schism of 1552 are meant here. As the research has shown, the two communities were in close cultural interaction despite the confessional and institutional opposition. The study covers mainly medium and small poetic forms, for which the evolution and influence of contiguous traditions can be observed to the greatest extent. Moreover, most of these forms emerged in the Syriac literary tradition during the period in question.
