HSE University Holds Exchange Fair as Part of International Partners’ Week

On September 27, the 2023 Exchange Fair took place in the atrium of the HSE University building on Pokrovsky Bulvar as part of the annual International Partners’ Week. Representatives of the world’s leading universities told students about the opportunities available under academic mobility programmes.

This year, International Partners’ Week took place at HSE University from September 25–29. As always, representatives of major universities from different countries gathered at HSE University to discuss the latest trends in the development of the higher education system, as well as propose options for expanding cooperation and forming new partnerships. International Partners’ Week provides a unique opportunity to get acquainted with HSE University’s programmes, exchange innovative ideas and best practices in the development of academic and student mobility, and deepen and expand international cooperation.

On the sidelines of International Partners’ Week, HSE University Rector Nikita Anisimov and Secretary General of the Guangdong – CIS International Technology Cooperation Union Guo Fengzhi signed an agreement to establish and develop academic and cultural relations.

Another important event was the signing of a document on further cooperation between HSE University and the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as represented by Rector Elmurod Khoshimov.

The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Tokai University (Japan), the University of Ghana, the Chinese National Academy of Educational Sciences, the University of Indonesia, Bosphorus University (Turkey), and other universities took part in the Exchange Fair. Students had a valuable opportunity not only to learn first-hand about academic mobility programmes, but also to talk face-to-face with those who have taken part in such programmes.

I’m at the fair today because I’m interested in what representatives of different cultures look like, how they speak, how they behave,’ he explained. ‘I just talked to some representatives of a university in Abu Dhabi. They are nice people, and it seems like a good place to live and study.’
