The Prime Minister of Russia has sent a message to the participants and guests of the XXIV Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, which began on April 4, 2023.
Dear colleagues,
I have the great pleasure of sending greetings to the participants of the XXIV Yasin (April) International Academic Conference.
For almost quarter of a century, the most pressing problems of the country’s development have been discussed at this major academic platform.
Today, the participants focus on such essential issues as the role of Industry 4.0, the digital transformation of industries, demography, the job market, international migration trends, innovation in financial institutions, and the international aspects of civil society development.
In the context of current challenges, with the pressure from sanctions growing, it is becoming more and more important to combine the efforts of governmental officials, academics, business and expert communities. This joint effort will help find solutions to relevant problems in economics and the social sphere, ensure technological independence, and develop recommendations aimed at realising the full potential of the country’s human, industrial and innovative development.
I believe that the Yasin Conference will become an important event that contributes to the global academic landscape and will help maintain communication with academics from other countries. Your academic research, expertise and analytical papers will be used in the Russian government’s decision-making process and the development of public programmes. Most importantly, they will help do everything that is needed to improve the lives of millions of our citizens.
