  • 2006 (July), 2007 (March-April), 2009 (April-May) - Taoist studies (practices and local communities). Zhongyuemiao monastery (Henan province, China), follower and researcher
  • 2006 (May-July), 2007 (August) - Studies in Tibetan traditions of China. Lhasa, Shigaze and other cities (Tibetan Autonomous region of China) , also living in monastic communities
  • 1994-1996, 1998 - Buddhist studies in different Buddhist monasteries in Henan provinces (China). Lived as Buddhist follower in several monasteries. I was initiated as one of the first non-Chinese monk, and a memorial stone was erected in the inner yard of Shaolin monastery in recognition of my contribution to the studies of traditional Chinese culture and translation of Buddhist scriptures.
