Course Syllabus

Abstract

This course introduces students and prospective entrepreneurs to the ingredients required to successfully create and finance a start-up company. The objective of this course is to provide an overview of the venture capital industry, its role in the economy, its participants and operations. Students will learn the types of investors and deals that are available to entrepreneurs today and reviews the investment process. During the course students will analyses which markets to enter, best ways to enter these markets, forecast the impact of global expansion and keep business growing.

  • Develop the skills to identify business opportunities, create a business plans and plan to attract venture capital investments

  • Classification and characteristics of sources, tools and mechanisms for attracting funds of the life cycle of an entrepreneurial structure.
