International Scientific Practical Conference "Finathlon Forum"

On November 17, 2022, the International Scientific Practical Conference of young scientists and specialists on sustainable development, investment and financial risks "Finathlon Forum" was held. The main purpose of the Conference was to popularize interdisciplinary knowledge, generate the interest of young people in modern issues of sustainable development, investment, digital economy and financial risks, support the development of critical thinking skills, promote the ideas of cultural and civilizational diversity.

The conference was attended by students, young teachers and novice financial market specialists.

Danila Kolesnikov, a student of the bachelor’s programme “International Business”, Graduate School of Business, a winner of the Olympics in Financial Literacy, shares his impressions of the participating in the forum.

This event was my first and certainly not last experience of participating in an international forum on finance and investment. This scientific and practical conference was really a youth conference, since all the participants who presented the reports were students and teachers of universities from all Russia and neighboring countries. Many of them came to Moscow specially for this event.

All the reports were unique and interesting, they covered a variety of areas: from proposals to create a system of citizens encouragement for the improvement of their region to solving the problems of all-Russian and international level.

The organizers of the event did the best, took into account all the wishes of the participants and were able to give everyone the opportunity to express themselves in one of the directions of the forum.

In my opinion, the primary task of such events is to give the participants an opportunity to look at the difficulties in the society from a different angle and invite them to think on contributing to solving urgent problems. The atmosphere of such meetings is businesslike and friendly at the same time and undoubtedly promotes communication with like-minded people and the search for new acquaintances.
