Round table on ' Discourses and Narratives of Regional Security of the XXI Century: Humanitarian Security vs /and Military Security '

On February 27 at 17.00 Centre for Comprehensive European and International Studies will hold a round table on 'Discourses and narratives of regional security of the XXI century: humanitarian security vs /and? military security' (European and Eurasian cases). The purpose of the Round table is to discuss how regional security discourses and narratives are formed and developed in the XXI century, through specific time fragments and contexts, and how they affect the discourse of international and global security.
 
Questions proposed for discussion:
  • possible perspectives and approaches to security research in the humanitarian (human security) and military (military security) aspects;
  • consideration of specific cases of discourses and narratives of security in the European and Eurasian region from the point of view of humanitarian (human security) and military (military security) aspects;
The key speaker will be Mara Morini, PhD, Assistant Professor in Political Science and Comparative Politics, University of Genoa.
