The 3rd Moscow International Political Science Forum "Politics, Power, Communications, and Technology. Modern Challenges" was held at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA)

V.A. Trapeznikov Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences together with HSE University’s International Centre of Decision Choice and Analysis hosted the All-Moscow Seminar “Expert opinion and data analysis”. Ivan Makarov, a Research Assistant at the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration, made a report on the topic “The Problem of Multicollinearity in Public Administration Indicators and Tools for Overcoming It”, within which he presented a part of his PhD dissertation study to specialists in the field of data analysis.

April 15, 2025 was the first day of the anniversary XXV Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, annually held by the HSE University.

April 2, 2025, HSE University held the First International Scientific and Practical Conference for Postgraduate and Undergraduate Students “The Improvement of Public Administration: Issues of Theory and Practice”

The HSE scientific journal “Public Administration Issues” published an article “Composite indices for governing digitalization: Methods for construction” by Ivan Makarov, Research Assistant at HSE’s International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration.

On March 6-8, 2024, The Sixth International Conference on Development and Governance in the BRICS was held in Raipur, India. Ivan Makarov, a Research Assistant at HSE’s International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration, remotely participated in it.

International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration held an online seminar on the topic “Basic indices of digital development: a construction methodology involving secondary aggregation”. Research Assistant of the Laboratory Ivan Makarov made a presentation.

Professor Svetlana Golovanova made an online presentation at the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration. Co-authors of the presented study: Associate Professor of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro Eduardo Pontual Ribeiro, Head of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration Evgeny Styrin, Research Assistant at the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration Ivan Makarov.

The article was published in HSE’s “Public Administration Issues” journal which includes two employees of the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration – Ilya Stepanov and Ivan Makarov – among its co-authors. The article examines the studies that were presented in October 2022 on The Fifth International Symposium on Development and Governance in the BRICS.
