Scientists from HSE University-St Petersburg Receive Award at International Conference in Morocco

A report by researchers from the Strategic Entrepreneurship Centre received an award at the international conference AIB-MENA (Academy of International Business—Middle-East North Africa) in Morocco. The authors of the work were Galina Shirokova and Aleksandra Zakharova.

Two Qualifications, Projects with 18 Companies, and Studies in English: The Unique Advantages of the International Bachelor's in Business and Economics

The International Bachelor's in Business and Economics opened at HSE University-St Petersburg a year ago. The programme offers English-taught studies in both economics and management at the same time. It is supported by corporate partners: VK, Gazprom, Sberbank, and others. HSE University-St Petersburg Opens Centre for Strategic Entrepreneurship

In January 2023, the School of Economics and Management opened a new research laboratory: the Centre for Strategic Entrepreneurship, where researchers will examine entrepreneurial activities and strategic management. The new laboratory is headed by Galina Shirokova, Professor at the Department of Management.

'An Entrepreneur Has to Be Passionate About Their Business'

The results of the Russian part of the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students' Survey (GUESSS 2021) have been published. It found that Russian students show interest in entrepreneurship more often and think about starting their own business five years after graduation. Galina Shirokova, Professor at the School of Economics and Management, Director of the Centre for Strategic Entrepreneurship, told us about other trends in the sphere of entrepreneurship.
