The researcher at the Center for Stability and Risks Analysis (CSRA) commented to radio station "Govorit Moskva" on the ban on alcohol sales on Sundays and public holidays, which will come into force on March 1, 2026, in the Altai Republic.

A researcher at the CSRA is the laureate the Student Research Paper Competition on economics. Vadim Ustyuzhanin's paper Parenthood Penalty in Russia: Evidence from Exogenous Variation in Family Size, assesses the causal effect of childbirth on maternal employment in Russia, often referred to as the ‘motherhood penalty’.

The CSRA team congratulates Vadim Ustyuzhanin, a member of our crew, on successfully completing the master's program in Comparative Social Research! During his studies, Vadim Ustyuzhanin published numerous academic articles, won a research grant, registered an intellectual property asset (RID), led a project group, and presented at academic conferences. It is important to note that Vadim Ustyuzhanin graduated with honors. Once again, we congratulate our colleague and wish him further success!

On Friday 18 April, another seminar was held by the Centre for Stability and Risk Analysis. The event was dedicated to the study of Russia's representation in the English-language mass media in India. The keynote speaker was Dimitri Spiridonov, an intern of the CSRA.

Human Capital Multidisciplinary Research Center has published the 36^th issue of the research digest. It presents the latest results of a study of demographic forecasting and its factors. The research is carried out as a part of the project "Development of multi-status demographic models for Russia accounting for the level of education and health status / life expectancy".

The conference took place on the Perm campus of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE - Perm).

The database provides a description of the revolutionary events of the 21st century including various characteristics: chronological, geographical, type of tactics of the protesters, purpose and degree of success. Also, based on the presented Database, the 'Atlas of Instability' has been made for the Afroasian (Afrasian) macrozone and for African states located to the South of the Sahel. It presents the risks of armed or non-violent revolutionary episodes for some countries from selected regions in long-term dynamics under three different scenarios - positive, inertial and negative.

The database is prepared as the part of the "Quantitative analysis and forecasting of the risks of socio-political destabilization in the countries of the Afroasian macrozone of instability" project under the support of the Russian Science Foundation (project No. 18-18-00254-P).
