Survey «Artificial art: a hack window to creativity or cotton flowers for mechanical piano?»

Dear colleagues,

UNESCO Dept. HSE in collaboration with Nextons IP/IT LLP company (Saint Petersburg) carries out another traditional expert survey within the framework of preparing empirical base for our annual research-and-practice conferences on the proceedings of medialaw and intellectual property. The results of our previous surveys are available by the link.

The current survey is dedicated to the topic of «Artificial art: a hack window to creativity or cotton flowers for mechanical piano?». It contains only 7 questions and will not take more than 5-7 minutes of your time.

The objective of the survey is to elicit the attitudes of experts, students, doctoral students and citizens concerned about the legal and ethical aspects arising  in relation with the use of digital technologies, including the neural networks, in the sphere of intellectual creativity and copyright. 

The results of the survey will be presented on the IV International research-and-practice conference « АВТОР/ AUTHOR – 2024»(Moscow, April, 18-19, 2024) and later used for selection of the concept of legal regulation of the jural relations arising due to the use of digital technologies, including the artificial intelligence.

We invite to participate in the survey students, doctoral students, lecturers and professors working at higher education institutions, research scholars in the R&D departments and research laboratories and institutes and other types research centres, specialists in computer science, practicing lawyers interested with the issues of artificial intelligence, copyright law, ethics and digital technologies.

We suggest several possible answers to each question. Please, select the answer that best fits with your viewpoint. If none of the answer fit, please, write down your own answer in the related field.
