Expert Discussion 1. Travelling without moving: online international student experiences during the pandemic

Institute of Education would like to invite you to participate in the first autumn Expert Discussion of the Observatory on Higher Education Transformations. Topic of discussion: "Travelling without moving: online international student experiences during the pandemic". The Session will be done in three parts: thee 15-minute presentations from speakers, 10-minute Q&A session followed by the expert discussion: experts will share their opinion on selected topics.

Questions for discussion (the questions are only aimed for giving a start to a discussion, the speakers are free to approach the topic form a different perspective):

1. How well are universities in different countries prepared for virtual internationalization?
2. What are the new practices that emerged during the last two years in virtual work with international students?
3. Are there any typical challenges associated with virtual student mobility?
4. In the long run, how can virtual internationalization and student mobility change the landscape of higher education?
