Office for Research Evaluation

The Office for Research Evaluation was established in 2013 to provide research evaluation for the projects that HSE either sponsors or takes part in. 

The Office's major tasks and goals are as follows:

  • To provide research evaluation for projects taking part in competitions sponsored by the University in conformity with the University's local acts;  
  • To create, increase, expand and regularly update a database of experts;
  • To develop and update a heading classifier aimed to provide research evaluation broken down by research areas;
  • To search for, select, and accredit experts;
  • To elaborate the University's local acts regulating research evaluation;
  • To draw up reports on the research evaluation provided by experts and on the Department's activities;
  • To promote and disseminate information on research evaluation activities across the University and its branches.

 

The Office’s major functions are as follows:

  • To ensure that research evaluation be provided;
  • To ensure that a database of experts be created, increased and regularly updated;
  • To ensure that  a heading classifier aimed to provide research evaluation broken down by research areas be developed and updated;
  • To search for, select, and accredit experts and to make civil law contracts with them;
  • To ensure that the University's local acts regulating research evaluation be drawn up;
  • To submit an annual report to the University's Academic Board as to the research evaluation made and the activities of the Office;
  • To ensure that information on research evaluation activities be promoted and disseminated  across the University and its branches.
