Bachelor’s Programme 'Information and Communication Technologies and Systems'

Information and Communication – one of the most rapidly developing areas of the economy, where the demand for qualified specialists continues to increase. This programme provides students with fundamental knowledge in the area of computer science and telecommunication, including an understanding of modern electrical means of the generation, transmission, receival, processing, storage and protection of information. It draws on the experience of leading international universities, including Stanford (USA) and the University of Leuven (Belgium). Students participate in scientific research and conferences and gain practical experience in leading companies and specialist institutions. Knowledge and skills gained enable graduates to work as developers of complex and ultra-reliable information communication technologies in well-paid positions, with the possibility of rapid career development.

HSE Moves up 10 Positions in QS EECA Ranking

On its 25th anniversary, the Higher School of Economics (HSE) took 25th place in the QS EECA (Emerging Europe & Central Asia) Ranking, thus improving its result by 10 positions as compared with last year. This ranking includes 300 positions and takes into account higher education institutions in transitional European and Central Asian countries.

Evgeny Yasin and Yaroslav Kuzminov Receive State Awards

HSE Academic Supervisor Evgeny Yasin was awarded the P.A. Stolypin Medal (I Class) and HSE Rector Yaroslav Kuzminov was awarded the P.A. Stolypin Medal (II Class). Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev awarded them on June 8, 2017.
