‘I Don't Even Know What I Like More: Running or Working’
Sergey Stepanov is an Associate Professor at ICEF and the School of Finance. He is also the Academic Supervisor of the HSE/NES Programme in Economics, a joint programme that teaches students fundamental knowledge of economics, modern methods of economic analysis, and mathematical methods for solving economic tasks. Sergey spoke to Olga Krylova about the joint programme, his research work with colleagues and students, and his second big passion—running.
‘Education Is the Formation of Horizons and Economic Thinking’

Program of Academic Scholarships Extended
Academic scholarships program for top students of the Master's Program Economics and Economic Policy extended for the 2023-2024 academic year. First-year students of the Behavioral Economics and Research Track at Master's program Economics and Economic Policy will begin receiving increased scholarship from the second semester based on their GPAs

Alexandra Antonova, a junior from the HSE - NES undergraduate program in economics chose to study her third year of bachelor program in a partner university - Dickinson College in Carlisle, a small town in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, with a population of just a bit larger than 20K. This year, three economists received the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel: Ben Bernanke, Douglas Diamond and Philip Dybvig.
