Abstract

The theory of economic growth is fascinating, one of the most interesting and exciting topics. Examining the empirical facts of economic growth, you realize that there are still a lot of questions in this area of macroeconomics. What are the reasons for economic growth? Can we expect that the achieved growth rates will continue in the future? Is there anything the government can do to increase economic growth? Why are some camps much richer than others? What can poor countries do to catch up with rich countries in their development? The course "Economic Growth" is dedicated to finding answers to these questions.
