Course Syllabus
Abstract
Global Strategy is concerned with effective strategic, organizational, and interpersonal management in a dynamic global environment. This course will focus on the strategic and organizational challenges involved in managing activities of multinational companies across borders. The following topics will be considered from a strategic perspective: the economic, political, legal, and technological environment affecting globalization choices; the formulation and implementation of strategy from organizational and market perspectives; organization of multinational enterprises; entry mode choice of multinational enterprises and human resources management staffing, training, and compensation issues.
