Assessment Elements
- Seminar Individual ActivityEach student can earn 0 to10 points for each round of questions. Points 9-10 are given for an outstanding answer which demonstrates a deep knowledge of the subject beyond the scope of the question. SAI mark = (Number of points received / Number of questions asked) * S * 10, where S – the share of attended seminars with your group in total number of seminars. We do not round this mark. We round the final mark.
- Seminar Team ActivityExample: in six seminars, over the course of the module, each team received one discussion question at each seminar. A team earned 48 points in total. The team consists of 5 members. The student’s average contribution was 1.1 as assessed by the team. Thus, the STA mark for the student is 48 /6 * 1.1 = 6.6.
- Project activityExample: in five seminars, over the course of the module, each team reported about the sample (or real) project progress at each seminar. A team earned 42 points in total. The team consists of 5 members. The student’s average contribution was 0.9 as assessed by the team. Thus, the PA mark for the student is 42 / 5 * 0.9 = 7,56.
- Written Examination
Interim Assessment
