Abstract
On this course we will talk about how sociological perspective is specific and how it is different from other disciplines. We will practically explore what it means to look at education through sociological lense. We will work with large-scale theories as well as with latest empirical research. It will allow us to see how theoretical frameworks are embedded in empirical research and how the connection with framworks is reflected in the research results.By the end of the course, you will develop an initial ability to differentiate sociological framworks and extract them in empirical research.
