Annotation To the thesis on the topic: Old Norse Literature and Russian Fantasy: the Peculiarities of Reconstruction of Scandinavian Aesthetics (on the Example of "Sagi ognennyh ptits" and "Runy ognennyh ptits" by A. Jormr). The work includes: 95 pages; sources used: 58. Keywords: Russian fantasy, Germanic aesthetics, myth, folk epic, Germanic studies. The subject of the research is the peculiarities of the reconstruction of Scandinavian aesthetics used by Russian-speaking authors in their works of art. The purpose of the work is to highlight the features of the reconstruction of Scandinavian aesthetics in Russian-language fantasy through the prism of the dilogy by A. Jormr. According to the results of the study, the main ancient Germanic artistic techniques in epic literature (kennings, alliteration), the features of the mytho-epic narrative in the Germanic sagas, as well as the narrative techniques inspired by them, plot lines and character images used in the works of fiction by Russian authors to create Scandinavian fantasy using the example of the dilogy, are highlighted. In addition, the influence of the author's modern worldview on the development of the plot of historical Scandinavian fantasy and the construction of characters was determined. The results showed unique author's solutions to the problem of recreating Scandinavian aesthetics in the works, which in the future will help young authors of Scandinavian fantasy to determine their way of building worlds based on the aesthetics of the Germanic-Scandinavian epics.
