According to the graduate project legitimacy is «The belief that in spite of shortcomings and failures, the existing political institutions are better than any others that might be established». At the same time, the concept was operationalized via electoral behavior and citizens’ trust to the institutions. The research methods were emphasized on regressive analysis and analysis of sociological data.
