Factors Determining American and Russian Arms Exports at the Beginning of the XXI Century

The research of the arms market is closely relating to the topical world issues: the problem of homeland security, armaments, international terrorism. All these problems will be discussed in case of American and Russian Arms Exports. The general purpose of this work is to identify factors determining American and Russian arms at the beginning of the 21st century. The empirical database is presented by 2000 and 2012 from the SIPRI and IMF Database. The resulted anticipated could advance our understanding of the arms export’s role in the economy.
