Company Competitive Ability Based on Supplier Selection System and Cooperation Patterns

The correlation between the company competitive ability and the supplier selection and cooperation system has come to occupy the central place in the research. In the framework of this interrelation the major elements of supplier selection and interaction system, in particular supplier assessment criteria, methods and cooperation models have been revealed. The research methodological procedures include applying the AHP and TOPSIS approach for the solution of the supplier selection problem in certain company. On the basis of this organization suppliers assessment, some guidelines for the way to build up the supplier selection system and cooperation patterns have been made. In the long term the conclusions drawn will improve the company competitive ability.
