Just-in-Time strategy as quality management in logistics

<p><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Traditionally, JIT has generally been viewed as an inventory reduction technique which can be used to reduce the level of stock in a production process.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Despite the rapid increase in the use of JIT strategy, business leaders have not enough information about adaptation of the system. Therefore, the main problem arising is possibility of adaptation of JIT strategy inside the companies. The aim of the paper is to examine JIT concept appliance in Russian conditions.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">By involving JIT approach, manufacturers can often increase the speed of production and cut costs significantly. Consequently, the use of this strategy is increasing rapidly. Yet, only few attempts were made to describe the process of adaptation of JIT. Therefore,&nbsp;this study may have real significance in the modern context of rapidly growing competition.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
