The Impact of Corporate Governance on the Presentation of Information in the Financial Statements

<p>Today global stock market fully relies on financial results of&nbsp; different corporations.&nbsp; It is obviouse , that quality of financial reports are controlled by auditors companies, but being a topic of such great importance , financial reports are exposed to being attacked by financial officers purposely to make it look better then it is actually is. Modern financial world requires efficient presentation of information in financial statement. However, it is really difficult to find out whether data in financial statement states real results of a company, because of a lot of estimates in International Financial Reporting Standarts. Even after several bankrutcys, wich changed financial system a lot, there are still financial managers, who use technics to show better results. This aprouch leads to the low quality of financial statement. There are several ways to estimate the quality of financial statement, but not one of them shows really good results. So, the author of this paper tried to use a new approach for estimating the quality of financial statement.This paper gives analises of motives of &nbsp;fraud attempts , methods this can be prevented and different examples of known ways to accomplish deviation of financial report. Besides this, this paper also develops a model to analise posibility of disquised financial statement, which shows quite good efficiency in evaluating quality of financial statement.</p>
