Economic and Social Aspects of Online-Piracy in Russia on the Example of Audio- and Video-Production.

<p>The Internet piracy theme is one of the most actual problems in the modern world. There are a lot of researches which are devoted to this topic. However there are comparatevely few of them which are help in Russia. The author coped to find out the influence of social-demographic respondent characterististics on the intensity of consumption of pirated musicial and videoproduction, and also the impact of intensity of consumption and other characteristics on the&nbsp;readiness to pay for the musical and videocontent, which is received from the Internet. Besides, there is an attempt to assess the losses and&nbsp;acquisitions of the industries, which produce this content as a result of online-piracy. The results and recommendations can be used&nbsp;subsequently useful both firms, which try to increase the demand for the legal content and state authorities in their attempt to solve the problem of Internet piracy.</p>
