The subject of this graduation paper is similarities and differentiates between Nabokov’s real life and his characters life.The object is Nabokov's memoirs, interviews and fiction of the Russian period in the majorityThe methods of research are comparative analysis of Nabokov's text corpus with his interviews and memoirs of his contemporaries to find resembling facts that are inscribed in novels.The aim of this graduation paper is to point out Nabokov’s intention to model his autobiography according to his new image of an American writer with the nostalgic tsarist Russia past. Also, this paper should explain that rewriting fictional autobiography is very natural for Nabokov - he grew up in the time of Silver Age, when life was an art, when every step and thought of a person should be done on purpose and in the name of literature.The tasks are<ul><li>to make a chronology of Nabokov's composing autobiographies through all his author’s career</li><li>to explain Nabokov’s understanding of memoirs</li><li>to include not only Nabokov's fiction but also newspaper, magazines and TV interviews</li><li>to expand list of references on the similar theme</li></ul>
