Practice shows that the business performance of the Russian enterprises competes with Western companies very much. The reason for such state of Affairs is extremely low in most enterprises, the level of business management. Description of business processes makes the organization more transparent and more convenient for the control of management. Designing business processes allows detecting the excess of time and financial resources. Developed at the moment methodology too cumbersome to apply in small business and require further study. Current tools descriptions of business processes do not meet the requirements of small business. Most of them assume a comprehensive description of the process that leads to the blocking scheme and complexity of its perception.</p><p><strong>The purpose of research</strong> is to develop methodologies for the description of business processes in trade enterprises of small business.</p><p><strong>Objectives</strong> <strong>of research</strong> are as follows:</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To identify key features of small business from the point of view of building business processes.</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To analyze the existing methodology of description of business processes.</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To propose a methodology of description of business processes for small businesses</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To approve the proposed methodology to design business processes on the basis of the trading enterprises of small business of LLC &quot;Maximum-NN.</p><p><strong>The object of research</strong> is business processes for small trading enterprises.</p><p><strong>The subject</strong> <strong>of research</strong> on the specifics of description of business processes for small trading enterprises.</p><p><strong>Scientific novelty</strong> of the work consists in the development of methodology of designing business processes in trade enterprises of small business on the basis of the marked peculiarities.</p><p><strong>Master&#39;s thesis</strong> consists of two equal parts, the first of which was the analysis of small business in Russia and existing methodologies and approaches designing business processes. In the practical part was developed methodology of description of small businesses, which helped to solve some problems arising from the application of existing methodologies. In addition, in the practical part was analyzed activity of the company &laquo;Maximum &ndash; NN&raquo;. On the basis of the facts identified in the study of the enterprise, were described business processes of the organization according to the developed methodology.</p><p><strong>The main conclusions</strong> of the work concerned visualization of business processes. During a review of existing methodologies revealed that the main problems of their application addressed the need for additional study of the methodology for their application and reading processes in the future. Thus, for the employees they were not informative. In addition, they demanded additional software or external specialist, leading to a major financial costs that small businesses cannot afford.</p><p>The proposed methodology has solved these problems, combining the vision of the process, the necessary guidance and information for employees, providing them with instruction in work.</p>
