<p>The aim of this work is to assess a role of public policy in diamond industry in regional development. Theoretical part deals with an overview as well as legislation and scientific literature. The next chapter represents an analysis of socio – economic development of Republic Sakha (Yakutia), also analysis of financial and economic activity of the largest representative of Russian diamond industry, Alrosa group, and its IPO results. Based upon results of analysis the author has developed a project of diamond bourse development conception.</p>
