Evaluation of investment attractiveness of the Nizhny Novgorod region

<p class="p1">The aim of this paper is to assess the investment attractiveness of the Nizhny Novgorod region in comparison with other regions of the Volga region and to plan ways of its improvement.<br /><br />The main task of the practical part of this research is the assessment of investment attractiveness of the region by the example of Nizhny Novgorod region and the proposal of measures to improve investment attractiveness of the selected region.<br /><br />Thus, the object of this study is the investment attractiveness of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The subject of research is the analysis of investment attractiveness of the Nizhny Novgorod region in comparison with the regions.<br /><br />The urgency of research is connected with the necessity of formation of effective methods of research of investment attractiveness of regions. The novelty of the research is connected with the analysis of the impact of the new Ombudsman for the rights of entrepreneurs on investment attractiveness of the region.<br /><br />Research methodology involves the calculation of growth rates by factors of investment attractiveness.<br /><br />In this paper we formulate the following main research hypothesis:<br /><br />&middot; The Nizhny Novgorod region is the most attractive from the point of view of investments by region compared to the other major regions of the Volga region (Tatarstan, Samara, Volgograd region)<br /><br />&middot; Investment policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Government focuses on the development of all the main components of investment attractiveness: a legal, logistics, personnel<br /><br />&middot; Institute of the Commissioner for the rights of entrepreneurs has a direct impact on the investment attractiveness of the region<br /><br />The aim of this paper is to evaluate investment attractiveness Nizhny Novgorod region in comparison with other regions of the Volga region and to plan ways of its improvement.<br /><br />Was able to show what is meant by investment attractiveness, the differences between the concepts of investment attractiveness and investment climate. Great attention is paid to the classification of investments, the motives of investors come to the region, and key problems associated with the study of investment attractiveness. Great attention was also paid to the methods of calculation of the investment attractiveness of the regions on the basis of available statistical information. The greatest attention was paid to the methods of Euromoney and the Expert RA shown their typical advantages and disadvantages.<br /><br />In the practical part of work was reviewed by the investment policy of Nizhny Novgorod region Government.
