<p align="center"><strong>The Impact of Fixed-mobile Convergence on the Business Model of Integrated Operators</strong></p><p>Theme of this paper concerning one of the most perspective areas of the telecommunications market - the fixed-mobile convergence.</p><p><strong>The main purpose</strong> of research was to find out how the successful business model of an integrated operator looks, and to make recommendations for changing business model of the company JSC &quot;VimpelCom&quot;.</p><p><strong>Objectives of the study</strong> were to:</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Make comparisons of the existing approaches to the analysis and formalization of business models and to select the most appropriate way for assessing the business model of the integrated operator.</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To evaluate the effectiveness of how the fixed-mobile convergence affect the business model of the integrated operator.</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To make an analysis of business models of integrated operators which using the fixed and mobile convergence.</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop recommendations for how to implement the concept of fixed-mobile convergence to the business model of JCS &quot;VimpelCom&quot;.</p><p><strong>Theoretical and information base</strong> of the research consists of articles in national and international journals devoted to the concept of fixed-mobile convergence, as well as a series of analytical reports which concerning about telecommunications market indicators and integrated operators strategies.</p><p><strong>Methodology</strong> of the study based on the case research method which was applied to analyze the business-models of integrated operators in the different markets.</p><p><strong>Structure of the study.</strong> The paper consists of 3 chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the analysis of general theoretical frameworks and approaches to the analysis of business models, as well as fixed and mobile convergence concept. Also in the first chapter discussed differences between traditional business model of integrated operators and the business model, which based on the fixed-mobile convergence. In the second chapter, there was an analysis of the business models of different integrated operators, and conclusions about which elements of the business-model perfectly fits the concept of fixed-mobile convergence and could be applied to other integrated operators. In the third chapter recommendations for how to&nbsp; implement the concept of fixed-mobile convergence to the business model of JCS &quot;VimpelCom&quot; were developed The main elements of convergent business-model, which can be implemented in practice, were formed by the conclusions of the study and data collected by the author. Recommendations designed to &quot;VimpelCom&quot; can also be successfully applied for the development of business models other integrated operators who are looking for a new growth point for their business, because the rapid development of telecommunication technology has created a huge potential for concept of fixed-mobile convergence.</p>
