The Specificity of Risk-Management in Start-up CompaniesOlga Burikova, 241-M  The research is devoted to the analysis of the specificity of risks in start-up projects. First of all, the actuality of the research should be taken into the consideration. The scientific novelty of the work is that the risk-management is not enough investigated in the modern science. The conflict between existing methods of risk-management, practicing in big companies and the efficiency of their implementation in start-up projects, that forms the problem of the research, is studied for the first time. In the theoretical part of the research the evolution of risk-management theories is highlighted, and the main methods of risk research are analyzed. Also the theoretical chapter contains the basic trends and groups of risks in start-up companies and the analysis of the connection between risk management and factors of efficiency in start-up companies as a type of organization. The empirical chapter consists of the SWOT-analysis and expert estimation of risks in the real start-up company (Digital HR). The way of improvement of existing business-processes and strategy and the specificity of risk management in start-up companies is the result of the research. The goal of the research is defining the specificity of risk management in start-up projects.
