<p><strong>Annotation</strong></p><p>The purpose of this research is to work out measures for logistics services efficiency increasing in airfreight.</p><p>The above-mentioned objective presumes the following tasks:</p><p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Company performance analysis in airfreight</p><p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Selecting the key features of company&rsquo;s existing airfreight services which is needed to be improved</p><p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Searching for the efficiency raising opportunities in airfreight</p><p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Airfreight services efficiency increasing measures execution</p><p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Economic effect evaluation from introduced solutions</p><p>The Russian division of the international freight forwarding company that is supposed to be one of the leaders in logistics services industry was chosen as a subject of inquiry.</p><p>The logistics services efficiency increasing measures in airfreight were primarily concerned with such service characteristics as the lead time and the range of services. The logistics services efficiency raising solutions were based on new ways of cooperation between forwarders and air carriers in airfreight delivery organization. Thus an opportunity of signing the long-term agreements between a forwarder and an air carrier based on ACMI conditions according to which an airline leases an aircraft with a crew, maintenance and insurance for a long period was examined. Using the logistics centers with airfreight services as a consolidation and trans-shipment point was also included in the airfreight services enhancement practices.</p><p>New solutions considered in the study gave a chance to decrease the freight forwarder dependency from intermediaries, provided new opportunities for the clients and improved the company economic performance.</p>
