The following thesis is devoted to the concept of neo-colonialism and the possibilities of its use in the modern times. The topicality of this subject is caused by an existing connection between the vestiges of colonialism and the modern development of the African continent. Taking into account the role of transnational corporations in international relations today, there is a need to consider the degree of influence exercised by corporations on countries through the concept of neo-colonialism. The reason for this is the fact that many corporations are actively engaged in a new struggle over resources and are, in fact, the cause of the problem of land-grabbing. The prospect of further research may be formed around a more detailed analysis of the problem of land-grabbing, its distribution in the world and actions of corporations to address this problem, or around postcolonial theory of international relations, and attempts to give a voice to Africa and the global South in general, and thus to take into account alternative views in the construction of a new world order.
