The Impact of Decreasing Economic Growth Rate on Energy Balance of China

People`s Republic of China has recently faced the problem of slowing economic growth. In this paper possible future scenario for China`s energy consumption has been investigated. Along with the theoretical analysis, it adverts to the econometric model based on a number of factors influencing Chinese energy structure. Accordingly, the analysis reveals the principal problems in China`s energy industry and forecasts its dynamics for the nearest future.
