Structure Analysis and Modelling of Employment in the Russian Federation

Employment characteristics represent current economic environment and appear as the factor of economic growth. Nowadays studying of employment in Russia is of current importance in connection with crisis conditions and instability in economy. Thus, investigation of employment structure and factors of employment is conducted not only for informative purposes but also can be used for further practical application. Complex research on employment in Russia becomes feasible by such means of statistical data analysis as descriptive analysis, factorial and regression analyses, time-series model construction. As a result of the analysis transparent employment structure, determinants of employment and time-series models will be obtained. The graduate qualification work consists of following parts: introduction, three chapters, conclusion, the list of literature and appendices. Introduction justifies the urgency of the employment topic, defines the problem, the aim and objectives of the research. The first chapter contains literature review on the stated problem and describes employment structure in Russia. In the second chapter employment structure is considered as determinant of labour productivity and the factors of employment are revealed. The third chapter is dedicated to analysis of employment time-series and econometric analysis of interconnections among the main economic indicators – GDP, employment and wages. Conclusion resumes the results of conducted research.
